These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BudgetNest mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.

By using BudgetNest you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What BudgetNest is (and isn't)

BudgetNest is a personal budgeting tool that helps you track income, expenses, savings and investments in a monthly view.

BudgetNest does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Any decisions you make based on information in the app are your responsibility.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, and legally able to enter into these Terms, to use BudgetNest.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your device and any login details secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use BudgetNest for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to access, copy or modify the Service in ways that are not expressly allowed.
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Paid features

BudgetNest may offer optional paid plans (such as BudgetNest Pro). Details of pricing, billing periods and trial offers will be shown clearly in the app store or within the app.

Where subscriptions are managed through an app store (such as Google Play or the App Store), billing, renewals and cancellations are handled by that store's terms and systems.

6. Intellectual property

BudgetNest, including its design, branding, text and code, is owned by the BudgetNest developer. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in line with these Terms.

7. Availability & changes

We aim to keep BudgetNest available and reliable, but we can't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update, change or discontinue parts of the Service at any time (for example to add features, fix bugs or improve security).

8. Disclaimer of warranties

BudgetNest is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. For example, we do not guarantee that the information shown in the app will be error-free or that it will meet your specific financial goals.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BudgetNest and the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (if any).

10. Termination

You can stop using BudgetNest at any time, and you can request deletion of your data by emailing hello@budgetnest.uk.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your use creates risk or harm to other users or to the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time (for example, when we add new features). When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we'll aim to notify you through the app or by email where possible.
